In days of old, Jesters had an important role to play in the King's court, using humour as a tool to speak truth, shift perspective and ultimately improve governance. Like a joker card in a deck, the Extant Jesters come into your office to change the game for an hour or two. Our interventions enable participants to view their jobs, office space and collegues in new lights.
Improve Through Improv: The Extant Jesters design and facilitate customized on-location improv workshops. Push the desks aside and get ready to move! We offer this basic improv workshop in regular, weekly after-work sessions, or as a one-day intensive.
WorkPLAYce: Lights, camera, action! The set: your office. The props: whatever is at your disposal. The actors, sound technicians and camera operators: your team! Action flicks, epic adventures, romantic comedies, horror, science fiction, super hero and spy movies - everything is possible with a little help from the Extant Jesters.
Under-cover: The Extant Jesters are veritable chameleons. Who is this new guy sitting at my desk? Did that janitor just steal my stapler? Is this woman really a big shareholder in the company, and is she actually calling her sister in Australia from my phone to discuss her re-decoration plans for our floor? More than pranks, the Extant Jesters' undercover operations provoke staff to reflect on their fears, their sense of belonging within the company, and their capacity to face the unexpected.
